Mercedes Schlapp measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Mercedes Schlapp, the White House strategist for communications, has a challenging task. She's faced with a president that acts as his own director of communications and a myriad of legal disputes that can throw off the administration's messaging strategy and Cabinet secretaries embroiled in their own disputes. Schlapp has managed to stay in the right frame of mind and stay on top of her game by working closely with White House teams in political issues, legislative affairs and policy and the overall communication team. In her current position she's focused on a variety of issues including school safety as well as opioid abuse. As of now, Schlapp does not deal much with journalists. The media spotlight was on her when she was named as a candidate to replace Hope Hicks, the communications director. Mercedes Schlapp has a tough job as White House's advisor on strategic communications. She has to deal with the president, who acts as his own director of communications, multiple legal battles that can throw off the White House's strategy for messaging and Cabinet secretaries caught up in controversies of their own. Schlapp has been keeping an eye at the end of the tunnel, working on policies together with White House staff from the political and legislative affairs team and the policy shop, as well as broader communication. The focus has been on matters such as the safety of schools, opioids, infrastructure, and trade. Schlapp hasn't dealt with reporters often in her current position. The issue came up in March when she gained a sudden burst media attention when it became known that Schlapp would be an option to take over Hope Hicks's post as director of communication. The battle has been bitter. The allies of Schlapp and Tony Sayegh have begun to fight in the media. Schlapp stated that, after she learned that the Washington Examiner had published an article that had negative reviews of Sayegh's character, she called Sayegh to have a private discussion.
